Toy Run® Vaal Triangle

REPORT BACK:

We had ours at a new venue this year. Instead of having it at Pick a Pay, Bedworthpark where we had for the last 14 years we moved it to the Vanderbijlaprk Hockey and Cricket Club fields which worked out to a much better venue. We had about 25 stalls and a lot of parking space. The day turned out to be sunny and hot. About 1200 bikes turned out and we collected about 3500 toys which is lesser than last year but it was due to the venue change. A lot of bikers phoned PicknPay the morning of the Toy run and asked what time it was starting as they are so used that we have it there, so there was a little confusion but we are sure it will grow stronger as a lot of people complimented us on the new venue. We had a great day and most of the toys were distributed to charities on the Monday already.
